Joyner's Driving Improvement School

Photography and Consulting | Virginia Beach, VA

Overview
Joyner’s Driving Improvement School (JDIS) is a DMV-approved driver education provider based in Virginia Beach. They offer classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction, driver improvement courses, private lessons, and support services like speed calibration, court referrals, and DMV-compliant documentation. JDIS has been a client of DMA for over four years.
The Challenge
JDIS initially reached out for updated brand photography. After learning about our full-service offerings, they expanded the scope to include consulting support. At the time, they were looking to update internal and external systems to make the business run more efficiently and scale operations.
The Work
Our agency provided monthly consulting support to help JDIS strengthen its business model and vendor network. Key deliverables included:
Brand photography
Business consulting
Strategic partnerships and referrals
Workflow improvements
Warm introductions for growth opportunities
The goal was to provide long-term value, not just one-off services.
The Process
Our work with JDIS began as a project-based engagement and evolved into an ongoing monthly contract. This includes regular consulting sessions, access to agency creatives, and collaborative planning using shared tools like Trello and Google Meet.

Results
Since implementing our services, JDIS has seen increased engagement from new and returning clients. Their social media footprint has grown through efficient content outsourcing, and their service offerings have expanded to include an on-demand rideshare app, mobile notary services, and additional education programs.
Highlights
The visual work focused on creating clean, modern photography that reflected the professionalism of the JDIS brand. Photos were used across their website, referral materials, and presentations for partners such as schools and attorneys.
